The Sculpt Cult Team
Meet Faina: Owner and Lead Instructor
Faina earned her Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Certification, Barrels (Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Baby Arc) Certification, Prenatal/Postnatal Certification, and Scoliosis Certification from Pilates Sports Center (PSC). She also received her Master of Business Administration degree from California Lutheran University.
Her journey into Pilates began after she underwent corrective scoliosis surgery. The surgery took a heavy toll on her body, so she initially turned to Pilates to rehabilitate. As she advanced, she began to rely on it as her primary form of exercise because of its numerous benefits: improved posture, flexibility, balance, stamina, and the ability to build long and lean muscles. She ultimately decided to leave the corporate banking world behind in order to pursue her true passion, which is teaching Pilates.
For Faina, Pilates is no ordinary exercise – it’s a lifesaver. She’s dedicated to helping others transform their lives by achieving their health and fitness goals.
After years of teaching Pilates all over Los Angeles, Faina decided to plant roots in West LA and open Sculpt Cult. She’s excited to teach all of her clients under one roof, in the space of her dreams.
Meet Morgan: Instructor
Morgan grew up as an athlete and has always loved finding ways to challenge herself physically. After college, that love for athletics transitioned to a love for fitness. Morgan became a regular at her local boutique group fitness studios, and really valued the positive impact that certain instructors had on her own fitness journey, so she eventually decided to become an instructor herself.
Morgan’s teaching career started with Lagree fitness in Northern California, where she learned the principles of teaching challenging, resistance-based, low-impact workouts. While teaching Lagree, Morgan was introduced to Pilates, and she was immediately hooked.
When she moved to Los Angeles, she began teaching Pilates full-time. She's passionate about giving her clients a challenging workout, with attention to detail and proper form, so that they get the most out of each session!
Meet Sarah: Instructor
Originally from Atlanta, Sarah moved to NYC in 2017, where she discovered her love for group fitness and became a cycling instructor. NYC is also where she deepened her Yoga practice significantly and became a certified Yoga instructor.
Having always been enthralled by the West Coast's healthy lifestyle and focus on holistic health, Sarah moved to LA in 2020 and expanded her teaching modalities. She now teaches Pilates, Barre, Yoga, and cycling. Her passion in life is helping her students feel confident in their bodies, as well as helping them see their strength, and empowering them to achieve their goals. She received her comprehensive Pilates certification from Mighty Pilates in Santa Monica and is double Mat Pilates certified by Equinox and Mighty Pilates.
When she's not building her next class, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves being outdoors and riding her beach cruiser, hiking, and doing the Santa Monica stairs. She also loves doing arts and crafts at home.
Meet Carina: Instructor
Carina’s love for movement, health, and wellness began as a child, from ballet, tennis, and soccer growing up, to hanging around the kitchen cooking dinner with her family. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she was fortunate enough to explore all facets of boutique fitness, from weight training, yoga, spinning, dance, boxing, bootcamps, to of course, Pilates. Carina has been practicing Pilates in 2016, and has fallen in love with the way it strengthens the core, corrects posture, rids the body of pain, tones and leans, all in a way that’s safe and low impact.
Carina earned her bachelor’s degrees in Economics and English from Tulane University, with a Minor in Health & Wellness. Carina’s passion for health and wellness eventually led her to leave the banking industry, and pursue a career in teaching Pilates. In 2023, she trained with KLPM in Santa Monica to earn her comprehensive Mat and Reformer Pilates certifications. She takes a contemporary approach to Pilates, focusing on time under tension for optimal results, with slight movement variations to keep the workouts fun and engaging. Carina aims to brighten her clients days by motivating them through challenging workouts to feel and look their best, and to shine from the inside out.
