The Sculpt Cult Team

Meet Faina: Owner and Lead Instructor

Faina earned her Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Certification, Barrels (Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and Baby Arc) Certification, Prenatal/Postnatal Certification, and Scoliosis Certification from Pilates Sports Center (PSC). She also received her Master of Business Administration degree from California Lutheran University.

Her journey into Pilates began after she underwent corrective scoliosis surgery. The surgery took a heavy toll on her body, so she initially turned to Pilates to rehabilitate. As she advanced, she began to rely on it as her primary form of exercise because of its numerous benefits: improved posture, flexibility, balance, stamina, and the ability to build long and lean muscles. She ultimately decided to leave the corporate banking world behind in order to pursue her true passion, which is teaching Pilates.

For Faina, Pilates is no ordinary exercise – it’s a lifesaver. She’s dedicated to helping others transform their lives by achieving their health and fitness goals.

After years of teaching Pilates all over Los Angeles, Faina decided to plant roots in West LA and open Sculpt Cult. She’s excited to teach all of her clients under one roof, in the space of her dreams.

Meet Sarah: Instructor

Originally from Atlanta, Sarah moved to NYC in 2017, where she discovered her love for group fitness and became a cycling instructor. NYC is also where she deepened her Yoga practice significantly and became a certified Yoga instructor.

Having always been enthralled by the West Coast's healthy lifestyle and focus on holistic health, Sarah moved to LA in 2020 and expanded her teaching modalities. She now teaches Pilates, Barre, Yoga, and cycling. Her passion in life is helping her students feel confident in their bodies, as well as helping them see their strength, and empowering them to achieve their goals. She received her comprehensive Pilates certification from Mighty Pilates in Santa Monica and is double Mat Pilates certified by Equinox and Mighty Pilates.

When she's not building her next class, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves being outdoors and riding her beach cruiser, hiking, and doing the Santa Monica stairs. She also loves doing arts and crafts at home.

Meet Rachel: Instructor

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Rachel grew up with a natural love for movement and a drive to push her limits, whether through sports, gymnastics, dance, or later, strength training. Over time, that passion evolved into a deep appreciation for mindful, intentional fitness.

After discovering Pilates, Rachel was immediately captivated by how it blends control, precision, and flow to create lasting strength from the inside out. Her instructor journey began after being a dedicated student herself, inspired by her mentor, Faina, who transformed her mindset and body through consistent, balanced training.

Rachel trained on the Merrithew V2 Max Reformer and fell in love with the challenge of resistance-based, low-impact movement that builds lean strength and cultivates awareness.

Boy mom energy meets Pilates power, Rachel brings athletic grit and mindful form to every class. Her goal is simple, to help each client feel stronger, grounded, and completely in control of their body.

Meet Elwyn: Instructor

Elwyn’s journey into Pilates took off while she was working as a network correspondent for Good Morning America.

After years of constant travel and breaking news coverage, she found a deep appreciation for the rehabilitative benefits of Pilates. This led her to earn a comprehensive certification in Pilates and apparatus instruction (mat, reformer, tower and chair)

As an instructor, Elwyn brings a modern, athletic approach to the practice—while staying rooted in its core principles.

You can still catch Elwyn on your TV and online where she continues her work as a network TV host - now with a focus on tech, entertainment, and lifestyle features.
